Charlie Delap is a Senior Housing Welfare Officer with Dublin City Council. He is a former editor of the Irish Social Worker, and was a member of the Analysis Group co-ordinating the Social Work and Social Inclusion project of the International Federation of Social Workers. He recently completed a PhD in social policy and social work at UCD, looking at the factors which influence the parenting experiences of low-income separated fathers. He is currently involved, inter alia, in the development of policy for the housing of convicted sex offenders.
