B.Comm., B.Sc., H.Dip.Ed, H.Dip.A.S.S., Dip.L.S. is employed as a Senior Housing Welfare Officer with Dublin City Council. He is a member of the Panel of Assessors of the National Social Work Qualifications Board and had a particular  interest in the professional training/education of social work students. In addition he is a Board Member/Director of a number of social care agencies including Exchange House Family Support Services, St. Margarets Community Association and  Tall Tales Theatre Company. Other professional interests include social justice, anti-discrimination issues and the development of professional standards of practice in community work/social care within an European wide context.
